We manage the technology of hotel chains with several properties, whose central systems — including the ERP (the core programme that runs the whole business), on platforms such as Dynamics Business Central or SAP Business One — run on servers we operate ourselves.
Some twenty properties across the mainland, the Balearics and the Canaries run on platforms managed by elstir. The ERP runs centralised in our Barcelona data centre: dedicated servers and, in some cases, client equipment in colocation with our security and our backups. Every virtual machine replicates to a second location. Backup covers every layer, off-site copy included.
When it has been called for, we have also built the complete network of a hotel in central Barcelona: cabling, switching, Wi-Fi and load balancing.
That means one thing: when the reception desk at any of their hotels needs the system, the system is there. And the people who answer for it know the entire infrastructure, end to end.
