If the factory doesn't stop, neither do the systems.

In a factory, an hour of downed systems is measured in lost production. We design the technology of industrial companies with that arithmetic in mind.

Data centres inside the plant.

For several industrial and distribution companies we have designed and implemented their own in-house data centre: racks with networking, file servers, domain controllers, replicated Hyper-V clusters (duplicated servers that take over if one fails), telephony, Wi-Fi and CCTV — everything their daily operation needs, inside their own premises.

And we maintain it afterwards, together with the office workstations and support for their management applications and ERP.

The industrial portfolio covers furniture manufacturing, automotive, industrial automation and food — each with its own rhythms, all with the same requirement: production must not stop.

From the technical office to the production line.

On-site data centre

A data centre at the right scale inside your premises, replicated for continuity.

Office-production network

Segmentation between the administrative network and the plant network, connected with judgement.

ERP and management

Support for the environments where your ERP lives — Business Central, SAP Business One and others.

Production continuity

Replicated clusters and verified backups: a server failure doesn't stop the plant.

Workstations and mobility

Technical office, administration and plant staff with the workstations they need.

CCTV

Site CCTV integrated into the network, with recording and controlled access.

A raw-materials operator for the food industry, with a turnover above 100 million euros, has run SAP and some thirty remote desktops on infrastructure managed by elstir since 2013.

At their plant, two replicated servers run with an off-site copy to our data centre. Their business email is private, on an elstir platform. The perimeter is held by two firewalls in high availability. The network — full Ethernet and a Wi-Fi network with more than twenty access points — covers 20,000 m² of premises from which they serve more than 3,500 customers. Every workstation and every remote desktop carries managed endpoint protection, and workstations and servers run on UPS-protected power. Support is remote and on site.

On 28 April 2025, during the blackout that hit the Iberian Peninsula, this platform kept on serving.

A kitchen-furniture manufacturing and distribution group — a client since 2010 — runs some ten virtual machines in our cloud and is now taking on the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Microsoft Fabric with our platform underneath.

We also configure specific hardware for a manufacturer of industrial automation systems and for an industrial laundry that serves hotel groups.
